We're back!! Our Inclusive Theater season kicks off in September for Barrier-Free's BEST SEASON YET!! We will be creating ALL-NEW, ORIGINAL musicals!

Join your favorite Theater Leaders - Britt, Emma, Gary, Lauren, Mike E., & Music Mike for a season jam-packed with fun, creativity, and positive energy!

We will once again be performing on stage, for a live audience in March 2022!

Inclusive Theater Company A is for adults 18+ with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

Inclusive Theater Company B is for adults 18+ with autism.

​In some instances, you may join BOTH groups if you have a dual diagnosis.

Important Information:

Rehearsals will be held at the Westminster Community Center - 25 Union St Westminster, MD 21157.

Please note: our rehearsal time is now Mondays 7:00 - 8:30 (change from 6:30pm). Participants may arrive as early as 6:45pm for rehearsal.

Skip dates: November 22, December 20, December 27

MANDATORY tech rehearsal: Friday, March 11.

Shows: Saturday, March 12 & Sunday, March 13

Attending the Studio on a Monday and want to join the Theater Company? We offer a $7 dinner add-on for participants to have at The Studio from 6:00 - 6:25, and then we offer FREE transportation for all participants to the Westminster Community Center in time for rehearsal. Personal transportation needs to be arranged home from the Westminster Community at 8:30pm when rehearsal ends.

New participants are welcome to enroll! We are offering a "no pressure" two-week trial period for our Inclusive Theater Companies!

Step 1: Fill out the online registration & select "check payment" to bypass payment.

Step 2: Attend the first two weeks of classes as a "test run."

Step 3: After the two weeks, let us know if you'd like to continue. We can then arrange online or check payment, depending on your preference.

Tuition Payment Options:

1) Pay in full via online credit card payment when registering.

2) Pay via mailed check to 7520 Main St #103 Sykesville, MD 21784. Checks must be received prior to the start of class. Either $50 deposit (5-month payment option) or $250 full tuition.

3) Pay a $50 deposit via online credit card payment to register. The remaining monthly payments can be made via check or online payment. You will receive a reminder email each month to submit the payment.

4) Cash payments not accepted.

Barrier-Free remains committed to being affordable and accessible for all families. We are happy to assist families in coordinating the possible use of a participant's funding to cover the cost of tuition. We will also work with families to find an agreed-upon payment schedule or tuition rate to ensure our participants can create, express, and achieve with us.
