The Show Must Go On - Advancing Your Acting Skills

Description:

Looking for a way to hone your drama skills between theatre seasons? In this 9-week course, actors will take a deeper dive into the fundamental skills we use onstage and off. At the end of our course, the big finale will be a short performance for friends and family!

This class is open to individuals of all abilities 18+ with a supportive environment for neurodivergent adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and autism. This class is open to new & returning Barrier-Free participants, no prior acting experience required!

Details:

  • Wednesdays June 5 - July 31 (9 weeks)
  • 7:00 - 8:30pm
  • Westminster Community Center (25 Union St Westminster, MD 21157)
  • Parents, counselors, siblings, etc. may wait on-site in the downstairs conference room if needed
  • Lead Teaching Artist: Kelly Young
  • Assistant Teaching Artists: TBD

New participants are welcome to enroll! We offer a "no pressure" two-week trial period for all classes.

Step 1: Fill out the online registration & select "check payment" to bypass payment.

Step 2: Attend the first two weeks of classes as a "test run."

Step 3: After the two weeks, let us know if you'd like to continue. We can then arrange online or check payment, depending on your preference.
