Description:
Barrier-Free’s beloved summer class is back for ANOTHER round of acting fun! During the course of this 9-week class, participants will learn and engage in the basics of character-based improv and sketch comedy.
Engaging in improv acting promotes social skill development, risk-taking, and self-concept.
This class is open to individuals of all abilities 18+ with a supportive environment for neurodivergent adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and autism. This class is open to new & returning Barrier-Free participants, no prior acting experience required!

- Mondays June 2 - July 28 (9 weeks)
- 7:00 - 8:30pm
- Westminster Community Center (25 Union St Westminster, MD 21157)
- Parents, counselors, siblings, etc. may wait on-site in the downstairs conference room if needed

New participants are welcome to enroll! We offer a "no pressure" two-week trial period for all classes.
Step 1: Fill out the online registration & select "check payment" to bypass payment.
Step 2: Attend the first two weeks of classes as a "test run."
Step 3: After the two weeks, let us know if you'd like to continue. We can then arrange online or check payment, depending on your preference.
